Figure Drawing at OPEN
OPEN opens its doors at 7pm for a casual and fun figure drawing session. $ 10 suggested donation. You’re encouraged to bring your own refreshments, though limited amount will be provided by the gallery.

Presented by Maxwellsounds, an open mic night at Prince Hookah of Louisville hookah bar. $5 for attendance, only $3 if you choose to perform. Doors at 8pm

Art[squared] Anonymous Art Sale
The Louisville Visual Art Association presents this charity auction to raise money for its CFAC program. Work is provided by a large variety of artists on 8 x 8 canvases who will remain anonymous. Friday March 7th is the opening reception, which will be held at their gallery PUBLIC from 6pm to 8pm. Each piece is $100 and all proceeds go to fund art classes for children. There’s also a Selfie contest….just sayin’!

A Night of Experimental Music @The Bard’s Town!!!
From 7pm to 10:30pm, The Bard’s Town will be hosting a variety of experimental musician. In order of performance:
Thaniel Ion Lee ( experimental improvisational drone, ambient, free noise)
Mathias Davey (improvisational acoustic, melodic noise, punk)
Institute for Psychic Reform (experimental electronica, ambient, improvisational)
Cher Von (looped guitars, tribal vocals)
Slow Learner (experimental improvisational duo, drums and guitar)

Moonface, Saltland, and Tender Mercy at Headliners Music Hall
Blind Date Alumn Mark Kramer aka Tender Mercy along with Saltlands will be opening for Spencer Krug’s solo moniker, Moonface. Spencer Krug is a profilic Canadian musician who was a contributor of bands such as Wolf Parade and Frog Eyes, as well as the creative force behind the now defunct Sunset Rubdown. Moonface is his newest artistic outlet, and he has recently released a new album ‘Julia With Blue Jeans On’. The album is far stripped down from his previous work, only using vocals and piano.
