Got my copy of Dream Eye Color Wheel’s first release.
Last weekend, I hung out with the Traughbers. If you guys remember, Ben Traughber was the very first guest on Blind Date. This time though, I spoke with his equally artistic wife Katy. It was a wonderfully open interview with so much insight. I really enjoyed it; it really got me thinking…we discussed staying creative being a parent, the joys of found objects & raw materials, and fading female roles in certain family cultures. Listen in this Wednesday…you’ll be glad you did.
Oh yes, just a little FYI, a special Blind Date presented event is in the works!! It will be a varied showcase of creativity individuals from Louisville, its sister cities, and beyond. Stay tuned for more information. Keep an eye out on my blog, Facebook, Tumblr, and during upcoming podcasts.
I apologize to those of you who tried to listen in today…due to some issues, only half of the episode aired. Beyond my control…but, BUT, I have the FULL interview here for you right here and right now! (just use the player below)
My guest today was Amy Ritter, an Ohio State University Grad student who does everything from sculptures consisting of raw materials like old denim, to performance art akin to the Fluxus Movement. We had a great discussion…
